Greek Retsina wine
I wonder:

Can it be that Retsina wine is virtually unknown in the US?
Or very un-popular?
And only an object of cheap jokes and ridicucule?

Yes, I know that the taste of the Retsina wine is a bit unusual
But here in Germany at least the Retsina wine brings pleasant memories of holidays in Greece.
And of pleasant evenings in Greek restaurants here.

Are there no Greek restaurants in the US?
Or are they too posh and too overprized or whatever?
Here they belong to every-day life and are quite popular.

Retsina has something in common with Frech white wines:
You can only enjoy them when they accompany a meal.
They are not good just on its own.
